Rachel is a Solicitor and a member of the Law Society Mental Health Panel. She has been undertaking mental health work since 2009. Rachel particularly enjoys meeting and helping people with mental health issues and/or disabilities in general. Prior to qualifying as a Solicitor, Rachel escorted children with special needs to and from school.
Rachel represents clients detained under all sections of the Mental Health Act 1983 and those subject to Community Treatment Orders (CTOs). Rachel regularly represents clients at Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers Hearings all over East Anglia. She is experienced in representing a wide range of people including children, and those convicted of serious criminal offences.
In her spare time, Rachel does Bodycombat and enjoys reading books and cycling. She is fluent in three languages including French.
